The Center for the Development of Children
"We cannot express adequately our sincere gratitude for the dedication and caring of the staff at Dover CDC. Our four children attended the school over 9 years and we are so sad our time has come to an end. The teachers are knowledgeable, experienced and caring. The school has been a second home to my children. They always looked forward to attending school each day. The teachers and staff take an interest not just in the child, they care and support the entire family. There is no better place for children to spend their days learning, growing, having fun, and becoming independent children."

"We've had our kids in CDC for over 10 years... Wonderful teachers - The best anywhere! Loving, supportive environment. Very safety conscious. Well organized administration"
"The programs that the children are involved in: movement, field trips, dinners and hot lunches. Panda room teachers are VERY creative with teaching the children"
"The teachers are all great, caring, etc. There is a strong and active Parents Association and what most impresses me about CDC is that it is setup like a real school in the way of classrooms, many pre-schools run out of a church basement, etc. where the environment is less structured. The CDC classroom are each setup specifically for each age group and children can focus on their class and teachers without distraction. I really think the curriculum along with the 'school' environment + structure will help make a much easier transistion into kindergarten because all the children are already familiar with the way it works and looks etc. Oh yea, also the enrichment programs are really great and fun for the kids. Plus music + movement!"
"The teachers at the CDC are nurturing and caring. They have helped my child build relationships and have planted the seeds for life long learning!"
"My children were always excited to go to school every morning, loved being at the CDC and finished being very well prepared for kindergarten."
"My son has grown so much while at the CDC. The staff is caring;each teacher and assistant teacher seem to know each child throughout the school. The staff quickly identified my sons quirks and strengths, and worked with them to give him a nurturing place to learn. He regularly begs me to sign him up for extended day hours, and then doesn't want to leave school at the end of the day!"
"The CDC provided a nurturing and structural environment for our daughter. It made us happy to see how happy she was there. She looked forward to every day. We're grateful for the experience!"
